as long as i can do that and get my steam controller to work then i have no issues. the only thing i did not test on fortnight and i think game devs need to do is to allow players to use both mouse, keyboard, and controller at the same time. Fortnite got an update that made it perfect when it comes to controller support. what devs need to do is make every game as good as battlefront when it comes to button mapping but also have some defaults for you to select. ago 'Controller support' pretty much means Xbox controllers only, it entirely depends on the games themselves. Allowing for controller is a good thing and your argument has nothing to do with controller. You can map the axis of the joystick independently something not allowed in steam input. In a way star wars battlefront (2005) is to complicated to set up using a regular controller. Chromanin: Eversince I've gotten a home theatre PC I've left GOG behind and used Steam exclusively because it supports the controller instead of just keyboard and mouse. Otherwise, I did the same thing as I did for the first FEAR game and mapped keystrokes to buttons. Right now it supports launching games from the Epic Games Store using Legendary, GOG Games. that seemed to be a pretty close approximation to the console version of FEAR 2 without having to change any in-game options. Even though one could map actions to buttons in game, I ended up using joy2key to map the buttons to keystrokes and leaving the settings in game at default, which seemed like the most portable way to do this. The first FEAR game and expansions would see both joysticks and allow you to correctly map them. Hey, I recently played through the campaigns of both games using a 360 controller and joy2key with great success.
